Web design ... in plain English?

Well we try, and we hope that this site helps you to understand what it is that we (and other web designers) actually do. It's not all snow boarding you know!

There is a good chance that you're here because someone has recommended SamL for your web site design? We don't really advertise, and (ironically!) we don't look to get high search engine rankings (for ourselves at least!) because almost everything we do happens through word of mouth, and has been so for over 9 years.

This site is designed to help anyone who is looking to build a web site and choose a web designer. You may take what you learn from it to choose someone else to design your web site, you may choose us, you may even decide that it's not for you afterall and decide to become a gardener instead. Unfortunately it's too late for us web designers so we're in it for the long haul, but of course for you that's a good thing right?
