What does a web site cost anyway?

We all know it is impossible to say 'how much a web site costs', but we all want to know and that is perfectly reasonable, so to give you an idea...

What can I get for about a grand?
The basic cost for designing a site (based on customer supplied logos, graphics and text) of approx 5 pages is £1,125 + VAT.

Additional options such as content management can be added from as little as a few hundred pounds depending upon your particular requirements.

So how much does a fully content managed e-commerce site cost?
Our costs for such a project would typically start at about £3,000 + VAT, you would always need to factor in your marketing spend and other services such as hosting, credit card processing and so on.

Costs increase the more involved a project becomes, but equally may decrease if you already have a design for us to work from (we also build sites for design agencies. Are you a marketing or design agency? Ask us about building sites for you...).
